I became a speech-language pathologist because I enjoy hearing people’s stories and working alongside them to improve their ability to communicate. Being from New Orleans, I am a huge foodie and love working with people to bring them to the highest level of their swallowing abilities.
In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at my church, all things Disney, listening to music, and watching football with my family.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Devota appreciates that she is always given opportunities to grow and learn in the field, not just through continuing education but through her client interactions as well. She is grateful for the people she meets, the new friendships she develops, as well as the gratification of helping people to meet their health goals. Devota has stated that working at Unified Rehabilitation has given her an opportunity to work in new and exciting areas and has enabled her to continue to grow as a practitioner.
